Gmail First Login
Your Gmail is ready. Start in a browser first: mail.google.com.
New email should arrive in Gmail after MVP sends your final confirmation. Old Rackspace mail may keep appearing while the move finishes.
First Steps
- Open mail.google.com.
- Sign in with your company email address.
- Use the temporary password or sign-in instructions from your ready email.
- If Google asks you to create a new password, go ahead and do that. Do not reuse your old Rackspace password.
- Use Gmail in your browser on laptops and desktops. Use the Gmail app on phones and tablets.
Extra Account Protection
Extra account protection is encouraged, but wait until MVP confirms that Gmail is fully ready before turning it on.
Labels And Folders
Gmail may show your old folders in a slightly different way. Older messages may appear gradually while the move finishes.
